We kept momentum going and went out again the next day...and the next day and...everyday after that (except two) in September.
Some date highlights:
- Watching anywhere from 1-3 episodes of Arrested Development until I had watched every episode of every season.
- Grabbing dinner at David's favorite restaurant, Chipotle. (He'd eat there every day, every meal if he could.) Yum, burrito bowls!
- Renting a Redbox - "Scott Pilgram Versus the World" the first movie we watched together.
- Sunday dinner at my parents house and my mom reminding us to tell her thank-you.
- Babysitting and playing with my sister LeeAnn and her family in Maple Valley.
- Playing games - I got crushed playing SET and was sure David would never call me again.
- Watching TV - The X Factor, Honey Boo Boo, Storage Wars, Impractical Jokers
- Going to the temple
- Going to each other's church wards - This is the poem David wrote to introduce me to his ward in Sunday School:
"Last name Pelton, first
name Karrie.
She is very quite contrary.
She’s an alumni of BYU
And that is good (cause I
am too).
Brothers and Sisters, in
terms of kin,
She has four, plus one
twin.
Microsoft is how she
brings home the bacon.
Going once...Going twice...Sorry, she's taken."
- Learning about our solar system at the Bellevue Planetarium.
- Hosting David's sister JJ and her family and playing at the Pacific Science Center.
- Driving to Portland to pick pumpkins out with David's brother Joseph and his family.
We had lots of fun getting to know each other better and falling in love!
Um...the last bullet should read.."Went to Corvallis and picked out pumpkins with Robyn my new best friend/sister in law and her family".
