We went for a hike.

We celebrated our one month anniversary by going for a hike.  The Coal Creek Trail, outside of North Bend was a moderately hard and very green hike through the woods.  It was a chilly morning, but we were hopeful there wouldn't be rain.  No such luck, but it was good motivation to hike a little faster.

We almost didn't make it to one month and one day when we had differing opinions about what trail to take back.  At that point, being completely soaked and hungry I just wanted to go back the way we came.  David said the other path was shorter, so (reluctantly on my part) we went.  I'm still convinced that his way was longer, but unfortunately when we looked at the map online we couldn't find the distances.

Any Washington friends have a recommendation for our next hike?

  1. Classic shoe shot...proof you actually did the hike and didn't just send David:) Maybe John and I should do the next one with you...maybe.

  2. I am thinking that David must be quite the fashionista - what with the red pants and then that classic look of shorts and kneesocks!
